Impressions of Monet - The Pond Chair

Oh yes, I know I’ve been promising this forrrr-everrrr! And it really is ready to be released. However, I will be selling this particular pattern on a very new (and still top-secret) website which is still getting all it’s credentials lined up and it’s final technical hurdles resolved. It is a very exciting concept and I hope that it works a treat for all concerned. I will be sure to let you know just as soon as it’s ready to go! Promise!

’Nathaniel and The Mermaid’

There are 8 live-in attendee places and 4 day attendee places. (We can accommodate more live-in attendees if they are happy to twin-share).

This Month’s Product Crush

I often find useful and/or beautiful products that makes my life easier as a designer, stitcher, creator and artist. I share these products here on my site for your discernment and pleasure. February, 2017: Paper Solvy Water Soluble Stablizer Sheets I’ve been experimenting with a bit of felt embroidery over the past month and have discovered this wonderful product during my research. Pretty difficult to get hold of here in Australia, but easily bought from Amazon.com  Transfer embroidery designs onto fabric or felt easily and quickly by printing the image onto a sheet of Paper Solvy, peeling off the backing paper and adhering it to your fabric. No fabric pens or laborious tracing needed! Stitch directly through the Solvy and soak off once your stitching is done. A fabulous, time saving and all-round awesome product - give it a go soon!

What’s New?

Well, this website is new!

After my beautiful, complicated Wordpress site got hacked in early January, 2017 and subsequently taken down by my host company because of said hacking, I decided to redesign my site using this very useful software (Xara). Theoretically it is harder to hack than a Wordpress site. It has no back-end sign-in. There is no code to learn and for this graphic designer it is a breeze to design with. And I’m all for simplification and breeziness in 2017! I’ll be adding in new designs, ideas, things I’ve found useful and/or beautiful from time to time on this page. However, I do tend to interact more with my Facebook page so it would be worth popping in there from time to time too to keep up with the latest goings on at Janie Hubble Designs.
